Another call for help!
As you may have guessed I am in need of some advice once more! (Izzack are you out there!).
I have been offered the chance to go Pike fishing, this may not sound much of a problem but I have never been fishing for pike before!
From what I am led to believe this will be fishing from a boat on a large lake at some stage over the next few weeks. My potential host for the day is quite an experienced pike angler which is, in my belief, a must for someone of my limited experience! I would not even to try and catch one on my own!
I must admit I feel a little nervous about the idea of handling one those monsters but I am keen to expand my knowledge and experience of freshwater fishing so its an opportunity I can not afford to miss, however daunting it may seem!
Any hints and tips will be, once again, greatly recieved!

I take it that you mean your nickname "PIKE" refers to the person Capt Mainwaring would call "STUPID BOY"!
There must be some in common with the two of you!
Well all I can say is there will be no room for any Dads Army antics on this trip. I hope not anyway!

Hello Izzack! How have you been!?
I know all about PC problems! Enough said!
I wouldnt dream of trying to catch pike on my own Im glad I have got the chance to go with someone who has many years experience! I will definitely be keeping my eyes open and my ears pinned back! I want to learn as much as possible. I should be going sometime towards the end of the week so I will let you know how I get on hopefully with some pics.

unfortunately that trip was cancelled and i havent had another chance since and that was nearly 12 months ago!

(Don't ask.......Pike is my nick-name.......LMAO) although I don't really know very much about them
