I'm going to be hosting my pictures on here of what I catch Fly fishing and hopefully getting a few more people on here.

I'm sorry to those who I haven't spoken too for ages and I trust you all had a Happy Christmas and got drunk lots of times. emoticon

mattie good to hear from ya!

fly fishing hey! ive always been intrigued but ive never so much as even held a fly rod!!! its on my list of things to do this year, ill ave to go and get lessons somewhere lol!

i remember going fishing with one of my brothers about 15 years ago down the river, he was using a fly rod, he had got the line tangled up and was standing on the bank getting angry! I remember throwing a stick for my dog to chase as the dog took off he ran through a loop of slack line which caught around his leg. my brother had the line in his mouth and as the slack got pulled through he ended up getting hooked through the bottom lip perfectly LOL!

I sent you a PM a few weeks ago, did you get it by any chance?

You aren't the first person to have asked that.lol
Have I put on a few pounds then? And there was me thinking that was down to Christmas endulgence.lol

I honestly don't know what is causing it but I phoned the doctors yesterday and can't see the doc I want to see until the 17th jan. I could be dead by then.lol

Flies, I've tied mainly Lures lately as they are working well on LlynGwyn, orange fritz and the fritz cat are both my favourites. I've still got an obbundance of peac*ckhearl though, Thanks John!

It's hard to photograph the flies but when I get the hang of it I'll post some of what I've tied on the forum.

I had a lovely fly box for chrimbo and it is nearly half full.

Oh yes and I caught a trout on one of the flies that you gave me the other day john. I think it was a black and peac*ckor a coch-y-bonddu one of the two. The fish were rising really well as the water was choppy, I missed five takes, I think they were rising and feeling the leader and dissapearing and it made them look as though they were taking the fly but they weren't. I hooked two and they threw the hook and I caught one. We had it for tea and Kevin tried some as he hadn't tried trout before.
I'll let him tell you what it was like.
