hello and welcome to the forum spitfire do you like planes a lot? i am into cars but also like planes in norwich it is easy to get to good air shows do you go to air shows and things?

Unfortunately, the only airshows I have been to are the two I had at my airfield (I litterally have my own airfield - for models mind). I am planning to visit RAF Duxford at some point though.

Welcome Spitfire. I like to work on model planes but I've never flown one or went to a show. I'd like to fly a plane sometime though

By the way. I would not recommend a spitfire for a novice pilot (just for reference). I don't have much trouble with mine though because I've been flying since I was 7 years old.

Have you ever tried the cheap ones that you can buy from catalogues (kids toys, in other words). I find them extremely satisfactory and a good trainer for someone who has little or no flying experience.

They are cheap, durable, quickly charged and quite difficult to damage beond repair (better than trashing a £500 Spitfire).

Mark.

Glad to see your still here spitfire and you haven't flown away somewhere else.
Actually I didn't know whether you had your own PC at home or not, I thought that maybe you just used the college ones.

Of course I'm still here. I have a PC at home but no internet unfortunately emoticon emoticon emoticon Mark emoticon

Hi Mark!

I've seen you around the forum a lot recently but dumb old me didn't look to see if you had a "welcome" thread. I'm Ian (possibly the oldest person to visit the forum regularly emoticon ). I'm glad you like aircraft, I think you and I will get along JUST nicely emoticon
