I hear ya. (matey??! argh! a pirate! sorry couldn;t resist, lol) Hopefully they'll actually work while you're out, but I'd be sure to hide the beer before leaving, don't want them having a party in your absence :)

Re: Where is everybody?

You never know, if he drinks some beer he might actually get some work done. He's taken nearly two weeks to do a four day job and now I've found out tonight that he's made a mistake and will have to rip the cladding back off of the wall. emoticon

I know it's easy to say, but my Dad is a tradesman and I've worked with him for a few years. He could have done the job in two to three days.

Cowboys, (you've gotta laugh at them!)

just be on the lookout in case he tries to make you pay for all the hours he's wasted (I had a guy like that do plumbing once for me, took him five hours to do a one hour job because he was sitting around talking to a buddy the whole time. I couldn't believe his gall when he tried to charge me for all five hours. Had I been less of a beach he may have even pressured me into it, as it was he got paid for the one hour that he was actually working and never worked for me or my family again.)

That's the way!

Give them what they've actually earned and then tell them to sling their hooks. If you haven't signed a contract then they've not got a leg to stand on.

Amen brothuh! Well, I may vanish on you shortly as I've got a bit of gardening needs done before I head out tonight. If I don't chat to you yet again today, have a good day and best of luck with the bathroom debacle.

Thanks!

I was gardening yesterday but the downpours have arrived again, so it's "rain stopped play" for me at the moment.
Speak to you again soon (matey).LOL

Well, if you're on Facebook, give me your ID, you can be one of my Vassals on "Knighthood" ! lol

My family is great, I'm loving every minute of them being here and being a married man and father, it's a dream come true finally!

How are things at your end? Any nearer to Will making you an honest woman?
