What were you doing at home at 2.57pm Elisabeth, shouldn't you have been at school?
You're getting as bad as me now, my last post at 1.27pm and I should've been doing college work or jobs, which can vary from shredding confidential files, photocopying, word processing, running eronds, well you get the general idea. So it's no surprise that I came on here is it?lol

Re: Hello

Lol, Mattie, I guess you forgot that you have to add one hour to the board time to get the time we're using! emoticon

Besides, school ends sometime between (your time, aka board time) 12:25 - 14:20, or 13:35 - 15:20 my time...

And that day I was off at 11:55 my time... emoticon Our teacher wasn't there, he were to some meeting...

Re: Hello

Lol, I will... Well, it's our geography teacher, he just got married 3-4 weeks ago, and then they were 10 days on a honeymoon to South Africe (sigh, how romantic, even though he keeps calling her his girlfriend, lol), and then there was a meeting...

Ah, no problem, I have the same problem at times, with American time zones... emoticon Id' more likely tell my class to do their jubs, aka learning, more efficiently... Although some of my teachers isn't suited for the role of a teacher... emoticon

I know the feeling.lol

Some of the kids in the schools here don't deserve a teacher. They should be locked away from the ones who do actually want to learn.

A lad who lives by me got kicked out of our local school because he was unteachable. All he wanted to do was mess about all day,so he got kicked out, now he only goes to school when he wants too. Where is the sense in that?

Re: Hello

Good question... The three boys in my class come and go as they like, as much as they're allowed (we're allowed to have as much as 10% absence, aka skipping 1/10 of our classes)... And when they're there, they don't do much... I don't think any of them got higher than C anywhere...

I bet it spoils it for everybody else who does want to learn.
Just wait till they get to my age, they'll be wishing that they'd done better and tried harder.
Only, I had the good fortune to be able to go back to college and re-try for what I want to do. I wonder if they'll be able to afford it or whether their situations will allow for it then.

Hmm, one of them will probably go into the acting business, he's pretty good and both his parents are there... Another one I don't know what he want with his life, lol, not good at anything, except expert in old movies... emoticon emoticon The third one... Absolute no idea... Pretty good at guitar, hmm...
