Lewis Hamilton World Champion

not official quite yet but a performance today just in the Japanese Grand Prix surely means he will go on to win as he is now 12points clear of Alonso and only two races are to go. i can not quite believe how amazing Hamilton has done this year in his rookie year he deserves everything he gets this year and Alonso to crash just makes things almost perfect well done Lewis Hamilton now please go on to wrap this up soon so we can all celebrate your amazing skills.

Not over yet, by a long shot. Hamilton crashes next race, Alonso wins, then the final race Alonso wins and he's the champion - HOWEVER...it's great, what a win, and what a drive!!

so far so good after one stop lewis is still in the lead alonso is in fourth so he is world champion half way through the race but it keeps raining and stopping so maybe things will change but go lewis hamilton

oh no! he's out stupid mcclaren why did they not bring him in earlier when his tyres were ruined? rubbish team management maybe they want to keep the title open for Alonso?

I'm with you Daz. What on earth were they doing leaving Lewis Hamilton out for so long when it was obvious he was SERIOUSLY struggling with those tyres? Could have blown the world title, hopefully he can do the job in Brazil.
