I now have a question fitting of this topic. Has there ever been a book written were you have fantasy characters like Wizards and Dragons, but in a modern time, for example 2100 New York city?

2100, modern? Let me make sure i get your right. You are asking whether books have been written with a fantasy theme in todays world?

2100 is modern for sure. I would say that would be future not modern but still both can be answered if any one can do it.

Re: Fantasy battles Science Fiction

I'm sure I've seen a fantasy book that was written in modern time but I can't for the life of me remember what it is.

Answering the question, I like fantasy and always have done. Sci-fi I never got into, never even watched Star Trek on tv...it just bores me...

Actually the only book that I can think of that could be kinda fantasy in modern days is Frankenstein by Dean Koontz, but that has a science element to it so would that be considered sci-fi? emoticon It's about that Victor didn't actually die and has created an entire race of Frankensteins and he's going to use them to destory the human race. Really good book actually.
