How to name Names? ( of places :)
It's like two days that I am trying to find a name for a tavern and I can not think of anything! Nothing that I think of is suitable. Only Persian names come to my mind and they are just too funny to be used.
it's also so annoying because now that I want to *write* I see that my knowledge of English literature is almost *cipher*!

lol, to be honest finding/creating names is what i find the hardest bit of writing a story!!! Did you want to create a name from “zip” or maybe tweak a modern/historic name of a town/village? If you are looking for a name for a medieval tavern, I’d recommend googling “Gauls / Roman / Knights” and tap into the wealth of information stored on the net. Reading such texts will not only give you brain storms but might even give you the name direct.
