Re: Mission #1 *Valley of the Gnomes*

Aurora was getting impatient with the waiting. Not much was happening just everyone looking at everyone. So she decided to take control of the situation to get things moving. I do believe that we can make introductions later as we shall be working together. Though right now we need to devise a plan for the help of the Gnomes.

She walked over to a tree stump that was nearby. Pulling out a map that she always carried, she hoped that the two humans would follow her. What do you think we can do with the area we have to work with?

Wren got very board at them all looking at one another and decided to dich the plan to wait for them to leave. Plus if they keep this up the goblins are going to be to spread out for them to handle by the time they leave. With that she walked over to Aurora and said " your going to want to go north east. The heavyist flow of goblins are coming in from that area. At least thats the way it was earlier this week."

Rorqale looked closely at the map, “interesting…” he mumbled so quite nobody else heard. Of course all he was really interested in was the likely goblin locations on the map, but soon the dominate centre piece of Aurora’s map, the Valley of the Gnomes, caught his attention.

Just as Rorqale turned to face Aurora, a gliding figure caught his attention, the figure slid with poise across the dusty road leading to where the ever growing group of travellers…no, warriors, were standing!

The mystery being didn’t even introduce herself to the group before she spoke, in a tone and manner suggesting it was not a request, more of an order “your going to want to go north east. The heaviest flow of goblins are coming in from that area. At least that’s the way it was earlier this week."” The companions glanced to each other, momentarily taken aback by the spectacular introduction of this new being.

"I'm sorry you don't even know my name. I'm Wren I've been watching you from up top that tree and you all caught my intrest. I would like to acompany you on your journey. I know you have no reason to let me go but I do know where the goblins are coming from and where they might be headed. I think you will find that information quite useful." She relised she had been talking for far to long and decided to see what they said about what she's said so far and decide to pick and chose what she should tell them and what she should not.

Aurorawas surprised to see another warrior in the group. Though she was glad that there was someone else who would rather take action than just sit around looking at eachother. Though she looked awfully familiar. Maybe it was someone in her premintions.

Yes I think she is right. As that area has been kinda deserted with vistors and activity. Welcome to the group you should fit right in. Well then again you may not for you actually speak. No offense to the humans she spoke in a whisper to the other elf, but they don't talk to much and take no action.

She kept looking at the other elf trying to figure out what was so different from her. Well in due time it would come to her, it always did with the power of her magic.

Re: Mission #1 *Valley of the Gnomes*

Nevar entered the town dragging a Goblin by the leg behind him. The Goblin had jumped Nevar and attempted to kill or mug him… either way Nevar had obviously had no trouble defending himself. Nevar walked towards the nearest guard’s post as people began to stare at him… and his ‘luggage’.

When Nevar got to the guard’s post, the guards on duty looked at Nevar as he threw the Goblin against the wall and left without saying a single word. Nevar wandered the town and glanced kindly at the small folk as he passed by. Although it seemed that the Gnomes were not exactly fond of Nevar since for one he came to the town with a goblin and two he let off a strange and powerful aura that put them on edge.

Nevar kept is pace at a normal rate so not to frighten the locals and raise an alarm. He was going to start looking for an inn of some sort when a group of people talking about ‘Goblins’ and ‘helping the Gnomes’. Nevar approached them.

“Excuse me… I apologize for my rudeness but could not help but overhear you. Would you mind telling me what is going on? The Gnomes are on edge, guards are everywhere, and now I hear about Goblins.” Nevar stated in a formal yet very slightly demanding tone. “I would be… grateful if you did explain.” Nevar was now curious about all of this, him curious over Gnomes and Goblins. It was not often that his curiosity awoke.

Wren looked at Nevar heading towars the group with an obvious aroura of confidance. The Gnomes seemed afraid of him, for what reason she could not quite understand.

"Well, the goblins have invaded the valley for one reason or another. Were not sure why but we are here to get rid of them. Do you wish to join us? It's not my jurisdiction but seeing as you came in here draging a goblin in I think you might be useful. By the way where did you get that goblin?"

Nevar gave off a small chuckle. "That Goblin had jumped me just outside the valley. I supposed he thought he could mug or kill me." Nevar said then put his hand through his hair. "Although he did not realize that I knew he was there." Nevar paused and seemed to be in a slight mood of thought.

"Join you?... Hm... I am quite unsure... but in any case this has caught my interest... So yes I think I will join you." Nevar stated. "I know some interesting facts about Goblins that may come in handy at one point or another." Nevar glanced behind him, some Gnomes were around the corner taking a look at Nevar. It did not suprise him. He turned is gaze from them and ignored them... Could it be possible they could sense what he truely was? Nevar was unsure but would have to keep his guard up.

Re: Mission #1 *Valley of the Gnomes*

The elf was unsure of what to think of the new human who had joined in the group. There was something different about this human from her magical senses that were telling her this. She would have to keep a close eye on him. Even the Gnomes were afraid and that was something unlikely as they were friendly towards all. So if you have some interesting facts of the Goblins why don't you tell us some of them. She looked at the human with a stern glance. Maybe you could tell us the exact place where they are camped out as that would be most helpful....

Nevar glared at the Elf but keep control of himself. "I do not know the whereabouts of their camp. I do know that some Goblins are in the valley even as we speak. I also know that there is some dispute within the Goblin ranks." Nevar said. "And lastly... the Goblins have a 'secret weapon'... not a secret anymore... Its a catapult, nothing special but they went to a lot of trouble to keep it concealed." Nevar looked at the Elf, he lied about not knowing where their camp was.
