Re: Mission #1 *Valley of the Gnomes*
Rorqale followed Shira without question, he was not normally so easily led, or ordered about. Nevertheless he followed Shira…eager to find out what was going to develop. AS the due neared the village all became suddenly clear. A massive dragon was attacking the gnomes. Rorqale’s heart skipped a beat, several beats…long had it been since a dragon had been seen on Apson. But this dragon, although looking as ferocious as all other dragons, wasn’t attacking the Gnomes after all, it was helping them. Many hundreds had climbed onto his back, and the dragon sawed high into the sky. Rorqale looked down to the city, it was overrun with Goblins, and something else…a giant Demon which stood tall 10ft at least, Rorqale looked to Shira.
“I’ve got to help the gnomes, they will die without my help, everyone of them, I’ve got to help them” Rorqale felt a rage surge in his body, this was it…The Tri-Blade glimmered and shock as he drew it from its sheath, he ran to the city, and entered. The Tri Blade went about slicing Goblin head from Goblin body…many limbs were severed from the being that governed them, but soon Rorqale was overrun by Goblins, and they started to get the better of him, a few glancing blows struck Rorqale to the stomach, several hit the tops of his shoulders without really penetrating his chain mail armour. But it wasn’t this that worried Rorqale, The Demon drew close, his massive powerfully looking weapon was held high above his head. Rorqale’s blade flickered and glimmered, many nicks went from the hilt to the very tip of the blade. Goblins mostly wore large and heavy iron necklaces, those very necklaces nicked and chipped Rorqale’s sword as he slew his enemies.
The Demon was within striking distance, but it was then that the remaining Gnomes of the Valley showed their true heart. They sprung from there hiding places all across the city; many drew odd shaped, but very sharp looking, weapons. All the Gnomes that remained had now filled the city, they outnumber the goblins two to one. They were stouthearted folk after all, but they were weak, and before much time the goblins had evened up the numbers. The clang of weapons filled the dwelling of the Gnomes, but so did shrills and shrieks of pain, yells and yelps of help, the unmistakable aura of death.
The Demon looked down upon Rorqale, he sent a sadistic laugh that filled the entire valley, sending rocks falling from the nearby cliffs, and trembling the very foundations of the houses. This laugh seemed to make the Goblins cower momentarily, but to Rorqale’s amazement it sent the Gnomes into a frenzied attack spree, their odd weapons sliced Goblin flesh with ease, but what happened next was nothing short of unprecedented. Many gnomes, 50 at least, charged at the Demon, half were carved in two by several large powerful strikes with the Demons weapon, but the others continued relentless, they jumped at the Demon, striking his flesh but doing no real damage. One of the larger Gnomes turned to Rorqale.
“Quick, run…but promise us, you will unsure that our kin, those who are fortunate enough to be on the dragon friend, make a new settlement, stronger, and more hidden than this…” before the Gnome could finish the Demon had struck him to the floor, he wasn’t dead, and he looked to Rorqale once more and with his final breath said…”RUN”.
Rorqale stuttered. How would he govern a dragon, and tell that dragon what to do with the Gnomes, he looked down at the felled Gnome. He made a movement towards the Demon, but then he thought, it would be no good him giving his life so easily, he couldn’t take down a Demon on his own, he turned, as the last of the Gnomes battled bravely, and ran towards the edge of the dwelling.

Re: Mission #1 *Valley of the Gnomes*
Lune stood there crying... she wished with all her heart that she could interfere... but she knew she mustn't... Lune put her hands together and she gave off a faint blue light... then she vanished...
Meanwhile Nevar was now on the other side of the mountains which formed the valley, these mountains cut off the Goblins route to this area, it was a plain that was between the mountains and a large river. You would need either flight or a ship to get to this small plain and the Goblins had neither. Nevar set down gently... there was a small group of trees tightly grouped together all along the mountain side... the Gnomes would have everything they needed here, even protection.
The Gnomes got off Nevar's back and looked around to see who the survivors were. Nevar made no effort to stay, he tookflight again and headed back to the Gnome city. He went at an incredible speed which he could not do when the Gnomes were on his back. He reached the city within minutes. He saw something down below... a demon of some sort, it was killing off the majority of Gnomes. Nevar stopped where he was but kept his wings moving so he stayed in the air. He looked down at the demon... if he tried to kill it he would kill everyone... so he'd have to do a weak attack... Nevar's horn glew as did the inside of Nevar's mouth. Energy gathered as Nevar opened his mighty jaws and then once some had been gathered, Nevar fired a small ray of white energy from his mouth at the demon. It stuck the demon directly, however it only stunned the demon... perhapes that would give his companions and the other Gnomes time to get away... he hoped.
Nevar set down outside the city where no Goblins were yet. Lune appeared on his back.
"Glad to see you alright Nevar..." Lune whispered. Nevar did not pay attention, he looked into the city.
"Rorqale! Wren! Aurora! Shira! Everyone! Lets go! Now!" Nevar's voice boomed. Some of the Gnomes that had survived ran to Nevar and climbed on his back... Nevar was shocked... there were only a few of them... many, many less than when he was here just some time ago... Nevar nonetheless waited for his companions, he would not let them die either.
