Aurora stood a few moments before answering Wren. She needed to think as it was required she read most of them, and she was trying to recall that one in particular.

"I do remember which one you are talking about. It does seem that the events are reoccuring. How could it be possible that he gained that much power in so little time? If that be the case we need to get moving now, or there won't be a world left."

"I have no idea how he could gain that much power so soon. It might be that he has been gaining power for years now and just now decides to show us. He must be looking for the blade, as well as the other items that go with it. Fortunately for us it seems that he doesn't exactly know where to look for them. I know of the area where all the things we may need are hidden, but we would still have to do a fair amount of searching. I agree with you though, if we do not find those items it won't be long till he will conquers our lands and those that may surround it outside of the known borders."

She hoped the others would hurry up. If this was all true they had no time to lose. They must split up and find everything as quick as possible. They would have to do that, hope that they would not misstep and end up dead. Then the item they found would be in the hands of Crake.

Aurora looks off into the distance comprehending what the other elf had said. She knew where all of the items were, but she was told never to interfer with this information. Now she had a choice to make and she wasn't to sure if she wanted to go against the elders wishes.

She perked up when she thought she saw Rorqale coming from the other side. Now maybe the group would come to a decision on what was to be done.

Nevar was fast becoming impatient. He put Lune down with a thud although not hurting her.

"You all took your time. Next time there is a demon going to eat an entire village, remind me not to tell you!" Nevar scolded.

"Nevar, keep your attitude in check..." Lune said. Nevar glared at her.

"You just wait until I remove this cuff..." Nevar muttered then turned to the two Elves. "Alright... now where are we going? Oh... before I forget..." Nevar turned back to Lune.

"Hm?" Lune said just before she realized Nevar was going at her. He stuck her in the head with the side of his hand just hard enough to knock her unconsious. Nevar then faced the Elves waiting for an answer as he gave a threatening glare.

Re: Mission #2 *Together: Dawn of Survival*

Rorqale had been helping the Gnomes erect one of the last pieces of the city, a tall and powerfully built watchtower that had a view over nearly all of the land, the Gnomes and Rorqale were just putting the finishing touches to the tower, when he saw Nevar hit Lune to the floor. The strike wasn’t particularly hard, but Lune appeared unconscious all the same.

”I must go now my friends…” Rorqale said turning to the small gathering of Gnomes, “Good luck, but I hope now that luck will not play a factor in your defence of this city, you have learnt that you are strong.” Rorqale smiled as the Gnomes. Every last one of them puffed out their chests and looked proud. He bid them farewell and walked through the new Gnome city towards the place that Nevar was waiting, as Rorqale went he felt proud of the Gnomes. In all honesty this was the best that could have come from the whole situation. If Rorqale, Lune, Nevar, Wren, Aurora and Shira had defeated the Goblin attack for the Gnomes, then the Gnomes wouldn’t have found their new strength. They would forever need protecting, but now, with a strongly built city, the protection of the river, and the land around them, and the new power the beings possessed, the City of the Gnomes would stand forever and a day.

Rorqale reached Nevar, who was now in Human form, with Lune unconscious by his feet, looking as if she was sleeping peaceful, and if Rorqale hadn’t seen Nevar strike her then that is what he would think she was doing. Rorqale turned to Aurora and Wren, who filled him in on what had been discussed thus far. “Well…” Rorqale begun looking to his sword, “My sword is basically unusable at the moment…” He pulled it from its sheath and showed the group the nicks, and dents that disfigured the Tri-Blade, “Before I can fight effectively this will need repairing! Only dwarves have the iron-mongering skills to repair the Tri-Blade.” Rorqale stood looking troubled and thought hard, “These mystery items we need…” He begun turning back to Wren and Aurora, “Where can they be found, that is what we must do next I would say, my weapon can be repaired at a later date…” he said reluctantly, putting the good of the group before his own selfish goals. “You say items; i take it we are referring to more than one thing? Are they together or are we each going to have to be assigned our own…mission, if you like…” Rorqale said smiling to Wren.

Wren Held in her anger as well as she could after Nevar struck Lune but none the less she found her right hand on her sword hilt and the left had a throwing dagger ready. "I will tell you were you are going you are going to be dead if you do not cut this additued out. I Am this close to killing you and be rid of this nonsence once and for all! I know that we will need you in the end more than ever and that is the only thing keeping me back right now. you are going to find a sword that you will eventually have to wield agents a dark lord of sort I will fill you in on the other information later and yes Lune will be going with you." Wren gave him a stern look that would have made any other beings heart stop but for him it was just to keep him in check and let him know that she was serious about killing him. "We have a ancient problem on our hands you would remember him Nevar his name is Crake and he wants to get the army he once had out of the Sword of the Dragons blade. You do remember that don't you or were you to hot headed to remember?"

Re: Mission #2 *Together: Dawn of Survival*

Shira swam deeper into the black abyss of the ocean. She had needed to rejuvenate after the length of time she had been away. Shira had pondered whether or not to go back to the others. For what seemed like an eternity, she had kept to herself. Her only companions were the occasional whale or other sea creatures she would sometimes swim alongside. Being near the others, she was starting to feel emotions that she had not felt in many years. Was it love? She did not know for sure. She only knew these feelings scared her. Shira felt safe in her aqueous realm. As she swam with the speed and grace of a Marlin, her mind drifted to thoughts of Rorqale. He most of all would need her guidance. Shira sensed an inner turmoil within Rorqale, and she feared without her, he would fall. Shira knew she would have to return.

"Crake?" Nevar said. "I knew him... I was one of his five supreme generals. Although not very trusted by him, I knew him well enough." Nevar looked at Wren with an evil grin. "You say you'll kill me... Go ahead mortal... I dare you if you have the courage. I could strike you down as I did to Lune. And Lune will not be going with me, I have had enough of her for one millenium. And to think that I the great Nevar will help you recover the sword? No... once I get this cuff removed... I think I shall re-join with Crake... Afterall... who is the winning side and which side gives me the better offer? Lune might have been able to soothe my soul for 500,000 years with her song, but now I find that I grow tired of hearing it and it gives me the urge to destroy just to see a hurt face on Lune. I now embrace my Dragon Blood, I no longer surpress it. So if you want to stop me, try. If you want to say anything, be careful of what you say. And if you think you can convince me, do not bother." Nevar turned away from Wren and crossed his arms waiting for a responce.

Wren watched as he blabbered on about him and Crake. She listened like she had never heard this before. She had read his name in the old history book she had been able to read.''Mortal' What an odd word to use.' she thought to herself, 'He thinks of me as just mortal. How odd to say the least.'

"The only reason you turn your back to me is you know I will not kill you. I cannot afford such a loss. If it is your plan to go back then going to get the blade would be the best thing to do. You can get it and go back to your master. I doubt you think that any of us could stop you. So why not do it? I know where it is I could easily get it but I need to do something else that will serve a good purpose with the sword or no. So what do you say? I know your type to well to doubt what you will do. Well that is your assignment whether you do it or no will be determined after I am done with my own and yes there is one other I will be send Rorqal to do we all have appointed tasks I have already chosen for everyone. Go and do yours I have to talk to the others I will leave you two here it seems she is coming out of it so you can fill her in on everything."

With that she took Rorqal by the arm, looked over at Aurora and motioned her to follow. She was lossing her temper agian and needed to be far away from Nevar. They walked out of the forest and into a meadow and well out of the hearing distance of any dragon.

Re: Mission #2 *Together: Dawn of Survival*

Nevar shook his head and dragged Lune to them and tossed her at Wren's feet.

"You forgot this." Nevar said. "And I care not if you try to kill me, you cannot. My powers are too great... And you said that I could go back to my 'master'? Crake is not my master. I only entertained myself slaughtering people... until I met Lune and she surpressed my power even more than this cuff had already. Either way... I suppose I may find it ammusing to watch you mortals struggle against Crake... so I shall help... slightly... Mortals are so stupid. You are born, you struggle, and you die. Pathetic..."

"You... were... not always... like this... Nevar..." Lune said as she struggled to stand. "...Not like this... when... you were... a child..."

"Shut up witch!" Nevar said and kicked Lune in the stomach knocking her down. "I have had enough of this! Prepare to die!" Nevar unsheathed his sword and charged at Lune. With his sword raised over her ready to kill, she raised her hand and sent a blast of light at Nevar sending him flying across the meadow, his sword out of his hand slamming into a tree and the sword went straight through his heart. Lune stood up and struggled to walk over to Nevar and removed the sword and laid his head in her lap as blood poured out of him.

"Forgive me Nevar... forgive me..." Lune said as she stroked his hair not caring at what he had done or said. She only felt worry for Nevar. That is what seperated her from the other gods and goddesses... forgivness...
