Re: Mission #2 *Together: Dawn of Survival*

Wren came out of the shadows and sat down next to the fire. It was obvious that Aurora knew a lot about what they were going to need to do but she wasn't sure if she knew everything about what was going to happen, no one did. One thing was quite obvious to her but she had no idea if the other elf knew anything about that. She sat and waited to here that story that Aurora was prepared to tell.

Lune sighed and looked at her hair, the silver seemed to be slightly faded, and a few brown hairs could be seen. She knew she had no choice but to stop Crake again, last time she impersonated a priestess and healed the would Elves and Humans, this time she would have to go as a goddess to fight him head on. This war would surely end in Apson's destruction and the devistation of the world.

Lune walked over to the fire and sat down on a rock. She knew the story Aurora was going to tell, it was not hard considering she lived through all time, and the fact that she could read minds.

Shira emerged from the lake in her human form and joined the others around the fire. She anticipated the story that was about to unfold, and she sensed the seriousness of it as well.

Nevar stayed outside the cave but still listened on what was going on.

Rorqale stood up slowly, red, carroty beams of light flickered off his face, and his hair shone its natural sheen. Slowly he turned to the two elves, certain that they somehow knew the most answers to what was happening no Apson. “So, Wren, Aurora, what do the evles of this land know of this Crake?”

Wren glared at Rorqale. She wasn't sure if he was being sarcastic or not but she didn't like the comment at all. "I suppose you don't expect us to know much about this or what? Just because there are not many of us doesn't mean we don't know anything."
She said this in a clam tone so he would not think that she was mad at him. Although it did make her wonder what it was he thought of the Elves.

Rorqale smiled to Wren, “Wren, you may know little, but Aurora knows more I’m sure. Are my suspicions right Aurora? What do you know of what is going on?” Rorqale sat back down and looked to Aurora.

Shira was worried about Lune, but what worried her more was the stability of this group. They would need to learn to trust each other, and very soon.

Wren just glared at Rorqale and decided it wasn't worth getting him worked up over what he said in before she had answered him. She then waited passionately for Aurora to start her story.

Re: Mission #2 *Together: Dawn of Survival*

Aurora waited a few extra moments and made sure that all of them were there. Well at least all of them that wanted to be there. She started off from the beginning hoping that she remembered everything that she could. "This is the story as well as I can remember it."

"

About 1500 years ago a demon being gathered all the evil beings to him. One at a time he converted them into his army to conquer the known lands. The demon also acquired a few dragons to his cause in a five-year span. The demon had to retreat on a mission that made him powerful. The demon had become to be known as Crake had obtained dark magic. He was still in its beginning stages but it was not long till he had them mastered. While he was gone he left a half-god dragon in charge of his army. His duties were to train and make sure the army was ready for battle. This dragon was named Nevar. All the training was done in a three-year span on an island named Neumeric.

Crake then marched his army to south if a town surrendered then he allowed them to join his army, but if they fought then the town was destroyed. The Elvin nation had scouts sent out to investigate the rumors that had reached them. Once their suspicions were confirmed the set out to make magical weapons. They were only given to the strongest in the clans. Many did not survive the war. The Elves were able to slow the army down and reduce its numbers. Though it was not enough and they were defeated. Four elves managed to escape to the druid keep. There was a Master Smith, Master Magi, a Master of Stones, and a warrior. The goal of the Elvin committee was to forge a new weapon that would defeat the demon Crake. Embedded in the sword were stones that gave the sword’s abilities. Included in the sword was an enchantment that protects the sword from being destroyed and also in a stone that captures the entire army. Two fairy stones from the ancient world were also embedded in the sword. A blue one that cuts through any armor, and a red one that protects and destroys magical beings. Then the druid took the sword, once all these elements were in place, and dipped it into Cerrano Lake. This lake was poison to all who touched it and home to the sprits of past druids. This made the blade able to heal and kill on contact depending on the wielder’s intentions.

Just before Crake was to enter into the humans countries the Elvin and the Human army was waiting for him at the border. Druids and dragons as well as many others that had escaped the other battles were also in support. This was before the civil wars had split apart the unity of the nations. A bloody battle that took many lives on both sides that lasted for weeks finally brought the downfall of Crake. Serranoce summoned all the powers of the sword right in the center of the battlefield and captured all the beings that had been fighting under Crake’s beliefs willingly. The army was trapped with in the blade, the leader with in a stone attached to the blade. This was done under precaution. They had no idea if they would be able to become stronger in the ‘dimension’ that they had been banished to by the blade. With out the leader the army would not have any reason or will to become stronger. The stone that held Crake was given to the druids to keep care of. At a later date it was stolen and broken releasing Crake once again. The other stones were taken and hidden in the Elvin country and were forgotten except what is told in the legends. The sword was hidden in the human country and also forgotten. The last magic weapon that survived throughout the battles was hidden in dwarven country that was guarded but was ‘stolen’ under a new clan command and hidden in a place where only the conqueror knew. Once he died so did the knowledge of the location of the axe. Only the Druids had kept the information in their history books. The Commanders at the time did not think they needed this information again. Crake after being released from the stone was severely weakened. It has taken him many years to regain his strength which he has now has. "

She took a moments to catch her breath by the time she finished the story. Story telling was not her strong points. She now waited to see what the group had to say about it.
