Mission #2b: *Sights In The South*

Nevar and Lune went on their way as they headed South towards the human countries.

"44 days..." Lune said. "I wonder if that will be enough time to find the sword while getting some help."

"I have some contacts there, I will get them to help you." Nevar said.

"I did not know you knew anyone there." Lune said a bit surprised.

"I was raised in the Kingdom of Tirith after my mother died and my father abandoned me." Nevar said. "The king and queen there took me in as their own with no questions. Although in time... I lead to their destruction..." Nevar remained quiet after that, it seemed painful for him to remember. Lune knew of Tirith, it was a kingdom that was being destroyed by civil war... but if Nevar was the adopted son of the last monarch... he still had rights to that throne... Or so Lune thought not sure on the laws of succession in that country.

Marth was walking down a path; he was bored, confused, and... lost. He had never been here before, but if he needed he could fly up and check. Marth saw no need for this. 'A new journey would be a good way to get my mind off of the nothingness that my life is.' He thought as he continued to walk. Up ahead Marth saw two people walking. They looked armed, and powerful. Marth continued to walk as he put his hands on the hilts of his swords.

Nevar turned to see Marth. Lune and Nevar stopped and stared at him.

"Who the devil are you?" Nevar asked raising an eyebrow. "I did not know that there were dragons in this area."

"Nevar..." Lune said sternly then she looked carefully at Marth. "May I ask who you are warrior? I am Lune, Go-" Nevar put his hand in front of her mouth to silence her then put his arm back at his side waiting for Marth to speak.

'Nevar...' Lune thought. 'I may be losing my powers... but that does not mean you have the right to do that......... He cannot hear me?.......... It seems I have lost more powers then I thought...'

"There aren't dragons here." Marth said. "Well none except me. You can call me Marth." He said as he observed both of them. "And you are...?" Marth kept his hands at the hilts of his swords, ready to attack at any moment if need be.

"As she said, she is Lune." Nevar said. "And I am lord Nevar, son of Saquan, God of War. Try anything and I will rip you apart." Nevar drew his sword jsut in case Marth tried anything. "Why are you here?"

Marth smiled and unsheathed both katanas. "I'm a wanderor. I have no place to go, nothing to do; I travel looking for an adventure." Marth stood ready to fight, and his smiled disappeared. "Do you have a problem with that your greatness?" Marth asked tauntingly.

"Nevar!" Lune said.

"Lune stay out of this." Nevar said.

"I cannot. This is a living being who has as many rights as you do! You may be a demi-god but remember your place! As the Goddess of Peace I cannot allow you to fight!" Luna said sternly.

"Too bad." Marth said. "It would have been fun to fight War's son." He then bowed to Lune. "Thank you for your kindness to a demon like myself. I didn't think I deserved anything like this." Marth smiled. "I guess this is good bye..." Marth said as he sheathed his blades and continued to walk...

Marth continued walking as Lune spoke. When she stopped talking he stood still. He didn't look back at them. "Heh, A goddess needs my help?" Marth asked as he slowly turned around and saw Nevar's dissaproving face. "... Well..." Marth thought as he again looked at Nevar. "Seeing as how he doesn't want my company, I guess it wouldn't hurt to tag along." Marth said as he laughed. "I get to piss off War's son, and no one can stop me because the goddess of peace needs my help." Marth stopped laughing. "Well this day just keeps getting better. Marth said as he walked up to the two.

"Alright, what exactly do you need my strength for?" Marth asked.
