Re: Mission #2c: *Anvils In Stone*
“Dwarves of the mountain, my people, my family. Time has come for us to leave our sanctuary, for now the mountain is no longer a safe place to be, Shira, our protector, is missing…” at this several dwarves gasped, “…soon the cave will be filled with water, and unless we leave now we will die honourless deaths in our claustrophobic prison.” More dwarves gasped, but this time it was with anger. “But, we will not fade from this land like day into night, we will depart, if that is to be our fait, with honour, the dwarfish way.” A universal “yes” reverberated inside the cave. “We have a chance to make one final stand against those who we call our enemy, Orcs and Goblins, our nemesis threaten to take over the land around the mountain, and we have a choice, die in our prison of stone, or fight our foes to the death…WHAT DO THE DWARVES OF THE MOUNTAIN CHOOSE?”
The kings voice echoed, time slowed, and then an almighty and resounding “FIGHT” made the cave tremble, “FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT.”

Re: Mission #2c: *Anvils In Stone*
Rorqale sauntered around the inside of the cave, as the dwarves rushed with great speed this way and that. Entering the caves with the armour in, and coming out fully clad, and going to the weapons caves, and returning with Axes, Swords, Daggers and Crossbows. The final act of preparing for battle was for the king to tie a cloak, each of different colour depending on what weapon the dwarf was carrying, around the neck of the dwarf, so it hung gracefully over his back, covering his chain mail and offering a more formal dress. At great length all male dwarves looked ready for battle, the females were wrapped up warm in an array of furs, and the children hung close by the females, who were carrying large leather bags, most looked filled of food, sausages and other meats hung down from some.
Finally the king came forth, dressed in the most stunning armour that any mortal had ever laid eyes on. The dwarves around the came bowed, and Rorqale followed their lead. “Up my fellow warriors, now we leave the cave, and head for Conta, the Defining battle field”. The King turned, and all began to follow, Rorqale made his way to the front of the peloton as they headed towards the far corner of the cave.

Re: Mission #2c: *Anvils In Stone*
The dwarves, and Rorqale, manoeuvred down a labyrinth of tunnels, but soon came to an end, doused in Darkness, the king, and two of his fellow dwarves dressed splendidly, but not quite like the king, moved forth and pushed on the wall, a creaking echoed around the tunnel, and duly the wall fell backwards, and light penetrated the mountains side. However, even though Rorqale was sure it was still mid/late afternoon, even after the knock on his head, the outside appeared darker than it should, not like night time, but as if the sun was veiled behind a dark cloud.
Rorqale left the mountain and was back on it’s side, he looked up, and sure enough the sun was hid behind clouds, but darker and more ominous than even he could have expected. He strode from the entrance so that all the dwarves could exit the cave. He peered across the landscape, the mountain and above where dark, rain was still falling, but in the distance, not too far from the mountain were glorious rays of light. Then he saw, the river, it had burst it’s banks and had flooded all of the vale. He turned to the Dwarfish king. “We must find another road, the vale has flooded” The king looked sombre, and he and Rorqale walked up the side of the mountain further, to survey the landscape fully.
