Re: *Chat, Queries and Questions*
I wouldn’t mind partaking in this Role-Play if you don’t mind. I consider myself to be a Tolkien Nut. And the format, if I have grasped it correctly, means I don’t have to committee too much. Which would suit me as I don’t have very much time, what with work being so busy at this time of year.

Is there a limit to the length of the section we write, Kevin?

Re: *Chat, Queries and Questions*
Well firstly thanks for looking at the Lord of the Rings role-play, (finally some interest). And now to hopefully answer a few of your questions.
I wanted to make this Role-Play easier to take part in, if you can only post little you could leave this role-play, for say a month, and yet still come back, and as long as your read up to date, post away. You don’t introduce your own characters, but follow on from the one that each specific Role-Play is about. For example in the Beorn story, you follow on from the general plot line that has been laid out in the plot outline, then you try, over time with your fellow members, to complete each mission. You can introduce sub plots and other Lord of the Rings characters within your posts (as long as they were around in the time that the mission is taking place on—this can be found in the first post of each persons mission).
So to summarise, you just post as you would a normal role-play, follow on from the previous persons post, but the difference is you post whenever you get the time to post, and if you are away the Role-play can carry on without you.
@Lui The game starts whenever the first actual post is made. I’ve started the Beorn & Gandalf missions I think, but anybody can start the others. All you have to do is read the mission outline, when the time and place mission is taking place (in terms of Middle Earth years and location) and then create that opening post.
Don't worry if we get it wrong with the first few posts, we can help each other out as we go.
