The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail i've JUST started reading, and thought it would be something close to fun (or enlightening) to chart my progress as the book gets read. So far i've only read 3 pages but already laughed aloud, here's a few of the "quotes" you find from critics around the world -
"It makes compulsive reading"
"One of the most important and thought-provoking works to appear in recent years"
"A heap of Hooey"
"Amateurish, Ignorant and Grotesque"
LMAO, those last two just kill me!!! Needless to say the last was a quote from The Rt.Rev. Hugh Montefiore, Bishop of Birmingham! One thing I will say from the start thus far, is this is going to read very well, easy and concise to the max. Can’t wait to dig a little deeper.
Re: The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail Yes very well written. Puts a lot of modern work in the shade. And when you think of the research, you simply have to marvel.
