How English Are You????
Did anyone this programme on channel 4 a couple last week? I think this was the title..... or it was something like
So You Think You Are English Do You? Well In That Case You Must Be A Dirty Hitler Worshipping Facist Who's Ancestors Were Filthy Warmongers, So We Will Take The Pride Away From You On National TV. How Dare You Even Think About Saying You Are English"
I am sick to death of shows like this on TV...... anything that can eat at people that are proud to call themselves English..... so what if we are not 100%, i doubt many people are, apart from say American Indians and Aborigines and Tribesmen..... but then even they have probably got DNA from other cultures somewhere along the line.
But no, say you are English (especially if you are a white male) and the racist card is pulled out. So if a coloured person claims to be English are they also racist?
The people that make these documentaries obviously have no idea what it means to say you are English..... i have part Irish blood, but i am English in my heart and mind, some left wing journo with a DNA test proclaiming i have Middle Eastern connections isn't going to make me suddenly abandon all my English feelings......
