Looking for honest (constructive) feedback on my stand up!!

I am new to stand up comedy and am looking for honest (constructive) feedback on a set I did at Carolines on Broadway in NYC last month. This was my first real performance and my family and friends say I was great but they kinda have to, so Im looking for unbiased criticsim from strangers. Things like, stage presence, timing, delivery, not "Amy you have a beer gut" :P. So please check it out if you have a few minutes and let me know what you think!! THANKS!!

My performance at Carolines 9/4/07

I only watched the first couple of minutes (got some papers to go cut out - Mid Wales Journal clippings out rank comedy stand-up :-p ) but i did find it really funny, the whole "relationship" start was a real ice-breaker. My girlfriend liked the bit about the "toes" and is now really paranoid because i NEVER take my socks off...it's only because my feet stink, but now she thinks i have Seagull attracting oyster feet too :-/ cheers

Anyway relaly nice, will try watch the other 4minutes later. emoticon

Watched it all....... no thanks to Youtube and my pc having a pact not to let me watch videos.....but funny..... that face you did for "Bringing sexy back" does look like a girl on another forum i go on sometimes, and she does think she's hot....... i quite like American stand ups.... I remember when i was little always loooking forward to tuesday night so i could watch Kelly Monteith or stay up late after 11pm to see Emo Phillips.... although sometimes references to things insular to America i have to work out why it was funny afterwards!!

HAHA THANKS SO MUCH!! I actually was thinking of some stinky feet jokes too. I was just asked to do ten minutes at Gotham comedy club so I might stretch that relationship part a little. Ive never done more than 7 minutes so far. Starsailor...you say you like American standup, may I ask where you're from?

Thanks again for your comments!!

I'm from Aberdeen, Scotland.......... But i am originally from Birmingham, England......... yep i used to watch quite a few of the Americans Bill Hicks, Dennis Leary (although he was basically just a rip-off of Hicks) Richard Pryor, etc prob just the mainstream one's but that's the only one's we'd see over here......... But Emo was always a big favourite of mine
and i get most of the jokes..... but if it references American TV or stuff that we don't see over here then i am lost......... Which is why it amazes me whenever Friends was on and my freinds would laugh at every joke..... even one's they clearly didn't get.

AAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! oops I mean emoticon

I hate Friends emoticon Maybe because everyone tried to force it down my throat so many times and I just developed a bad taste for it. I love the old school comics too but there are a lot of new ones I love. I got to see Jim Gaffigan live about 10 feet away from me and I have to say he is probably one of the nicest guys EVER and truly a clean comic. There were other comics with him doing improv and the topic turned to "vagina". emoticon <----thats what he looked like. He turned bright red and he ended up telling an awkward teenager story...anyway I feel as if Im babbling now... :P

I also love Louis C.K. (because he crashes every mic in NYC whenever he wants), Mitch Hedberg, and as much as I hate to admit it, Larry the Cable Guy, etc etc etc
