Heads-UP on the VMP race
This is not 100% yet, but were at 95% and will confirm this later today. Normally we have a strong car count at our VMP race, between the "rain date" we set (this weekend) and the Halloween weekend more than a few guy`s have dropped out.  This wasn`t the weekend everybody cleared their schedules for, plain and simple.
Right now it looks as if were gonna have 15 cars on Friday and 4/5 of those can`t make Saturday. Details will come later, but odds are were gonna turn this event into a FRIDAY ONLY race, we can run up until 11:00pm at night. Again details will follow....

I plan on being at VMP Friday and Saturday with my F/S or Friday only if thats the plan. Any other F/Stocks? Is there an up-dated list?

for my sons to F around with. I am renting 2 trailers  .

It's pouring here right now, Dave (has since Sunday), and they're saying 100% through tomorrow sometime...I'm gonna guess *later* in the day Friday might be your best bet? We're roughly the same latitude as VMP, and this band of weather extends way down past ATL...best as I can tell, this band of rain is gonna be near VMP this afternoon...?
Hopefully it'll swing away, and y'all can finally catch a break...

Latest weather,and I live 15 miles from the track, Friday will be cloudy with maybe a slight drizzle chance in the morning. Saturday is warm,partly sunny,no rain chance until Sunday.
Let's hope you all can get this race in.
I wait all year to see you guys race. Best racing period!!!!
I hope that FAST '71 429 Mach 1 can make the show...truely an awesome car!!!

I would like to make this event since it is the closest you all get to my neck of the woods. Do you have to be there both days to race on Sat? I can probably leave tomorrow late morning & be there sometime in the after noon. 7-1/2 hour drive from Knoxville Tn. 1969 conv. firebird f/s.
