spool or mini spool


I`ve got the rear end out of the car and getting ready to put in the new gear.What spool or mini spool does the FAST class like the best. I have a moroso brute strength posi in it now. thanks in advance

I don't think there is much of a preference either way on that. Use whatever you are comfortable with. Probably best to go with a brand name part. Bad things can happen if a spool breaks.

While a mini spool and a regular spool both do the same thing. A mini spool relies on a stock carrier for strength and a spool is one piece of machined steel. When you lock two axles together the tires can have two different paths of force and therefore look for the weak link.(stock carrier) Don't use a mini spool.

That Moroso unit is a good piece. If you plan on using stock spline axles.
