Brake question

Whats the possibility of running an aftermarket master cylinder for safety reasons...I have the after market racing brakes but the car just doesn't want to stop that well with the factory master cylinder...got any advice?

I don't think thats going to fly, unless you can make it look like a stock MC. Everybody else is getting the stock ones to work, and besides the appearance I think an aftermarket MC is lighter. emoticon

If you are talking about the master on your Fairlane, you should talk to Lane or Steve V. I think they have both found a stock appearing Ford master that works with the aftermarket brakes.

Re: Brake question

It's actually for the 69 Camaro...car feels like it's running with 4 wheel drums...pedal pressure is good but it just doesn't want to stop that well...kinda scary at 120+mph...have tried a number of new MC's but to no resolve...will go through the whole system at some point

Thanks for the input guys emoticon
