Re: Permanent Numbers for F.A.S.T. This is not my place, or for that matter, not the right topic to bring this up in ...... but, I will anyway.
Entry fees are what they are. The FAST organizers have costs that are needed to cover the rental of the track. If anyone thinks that these guys are walking away with $100 bills in their pocket for profit, you are sorely mistaken. I'm very certain that when the cost of entry is calculated, it is with the racers' checkbooks in mind. Yea, it stinks when costs go up, but look at the return on your investment ...... great friends, great fun, great racing........
Re: Permanent Numbers for F.A.S.T. Took the kids to the movies yesterday $66 with goodies, less than 2 hours we were done.
Jeff, We are doing everything we can to keep the price of these races down, i hope you guy`s realize we rent the entire track to have by ourselfs, we generally try and give away tons of prizes, alittle magazine coverage, etc, etc. There`s a few guy`s on this borad that know how we work and we give everything back to the racers in the end. Look at Palooza last year, did we pocket that $3k or give it right to our racers. F.A.S.T. will not be running at the Mopar Nationals in 2009.
