Re: hey Tommy I'm in LOVE! Nothing sounds like a stocker! We saw some smoke tonight. No leaks, everything seems to work ok,engine came up to temp and then right back down again with the electric water pump and fan. If anything I think it may have a little to much oil pressure.
We were hoping to get down to Atco Tuesday night but I think there may be too many loose ends yet for that.
Re: hey Tommy Cool Video,
So what trans does that Chevy II have in it that he dosen't even touch the clutch to shift? Are they allowed to use a trans with split sliders?
Re: hey Tommy No, I won't be driving. Jerry owns the car and will drive it. He's the best man for the job anyway. He goes rounds everywhere. I'm sure I can play with it whenever I want. The problem is now I want to finish up mine.
Smith died in the very early stages of the new engine. I was real happy to pick up where he left off. I still have "his" beer in the fridge so last night after Welsh and I fired it up I had a beer for him.
That live timing thing is pretty cool. I always watch Thurs and Fri at the shop too. It's gettin close now.
Re: hey Tommy Well,It's official. This morning I bought a competition number so I could drive the car. At the last minute Jerry had some family stuff pop up this weekend. He wasn't going to be able to go for the whole weekend.
It has been a long day but to sum it up I got a hook in my mouth, ran under the index, nothing is leaking and got rained out.
