We know the source sucks but when people listen to that BS knowing that it's not the case and then spread it around...Well then those people suck too.
This is really getting old.

Dave, it is just stupid and cowardly for anyone to spread rumors about your car being illegal, especially considering that you have done far more than anybody to prove its legitemacy. 
I'd like to see whoever this liar is to get a libel or slander lawsuit slapped on him.
BTW, I sold Dave those heads, they were a vergin, untouched set of iron castings off a 1966 Hemi that I rescued from an old guys basement. So I can vouch them being 100% legal.

Dave, you need to clarify who said you have aluminum heads. If you're saying that I said all of the above, Please take a moment and tell everyone here on terry pendington's site the complete rumor and who started it. My Father In-Law, Dalton, called Mancini Racing to order parts for his Road Runner. He told the person taking the order that he races his car in a Factory Appearing MuscleCar Class ( www.SuperCarRaces.com ). The person taking the order told him he had just visited the machine shop in August of 2009 and said he saw Dave Dudek's aluminum heads and they were being spray welded to look correct" and commented that "the fast guys will do anything to win".
When Pete called you to fill you in on the information Dalton told him, you told Pete that you personally had already heard this rumor that an employee at Mancini Racing was telling people what Pete had just told you. You then called Pete back and told him you went to Mancini Racing and talked to the owner of Mancini Racing and he pulled Dalton's receipt to see who had helped him on the phone. You told Pete that you and the owner spoke to the sales person and this employee of Mancini Racing told you he had mistaken your parts with Jack Irons parts.
I want to close by saying I appreciate all you and Jack Irons have done to turn me onto the original intent of Factory Appearing Drag Racing. If you want to discredit the rumors the loose cannon has started with your block, please feel free to join us this fall and have your car teched at a SuperCar Event. I would have loved to have you do this at the Nat's but you chose not to run your Road Runner for reasons I yet don't understand. I appreciated the time we spent at this years Mopar Nat's, after again clearing the air on the Mega Block Rumor the loose cannon said I started. And I also appreciated you inviting me to compete at this years fall Muscle Palooza. I understand you do not control the fast series or what goes on in it. I invite you to be part of the supercar series and compete on a level playing field with rules that apply to all. I heard this rumor this past weekend also. If the truth was known, why was it still being spread?

No one from Mancini Racing contacted Dalton to tell him that the information he was given was false or incorrect. So, I would guess that until Mancini clears it up with everyone this employee spoke to, that this information would still be circulating.
