Re: OK, let`s hear it
I talked with Freddy today, he's heading back to the track for a final t-n-t before the winter hit's. He has a few issues to sort out and were running out of time this year. Nobody said this stuff was easy.

dave, will you be listing the infractions and giving the status of their records/personal bests?

Re: OK, let`s hear it
If a guy get`s busted only the runs ran that weekend will be taken off the record books. If we didn`t catch the violation the previous race, well..... There`s NO way to tell for sure he had the part in question on the car the previous race. If the guy comes out and tells us he`s been illegal all year than all his runs will be wiped out.

Re: OK, let`s hear it
I am doing a '74 GTO for my brother. It will run as a small block as they came with little small valve 350 Pontiacs from the factory. We are even keeping it the factory original color of...brown. Shamefully ugly car, I mean color but Larry seems fine with it...
The car is at a solid stage and the drive line is running behind but starting to move forward again.
We like the idea of "the bar for a small block car will be raised". I hope we can help that to happen.

Seeing as there aren't any official "small block" Pontiac blocks it would be kind of hard to characterize a "350" Pontiac as a small block-especially within the confines of FAST. Would one have to run a 3.0" main series block to be still FAST legal?? I would think not, but what do I know.
I like the thinking though, even if it's just a Nova

Re: OK, let`s hear it
Yeah,
A 326 - 455 Pontiac physically look the same externally. Above a 400 though the mains go to a 3 1/4 from 3".
