Re: PSMCDR?? Updates?

What a good time we had.

Little Duster took a beating like a prize fighter.17 passes without a hitch.Didn't come home all shot up,so it is ready for its next mission.Best pass was a all time best of 13.61 at 104.49.Had some trouble on the starting line, had trouble doing a burnout without water. They don't put any water down and they don't allow line locks, this is drag racing right?

Anyway, it sure was nice of Ed and James to pick me up and drop me off.We had a some good laughs. It looks like maybe they have another "bad habit in Sept" for the calendar.Sorry guys.

I think everybody is thinking about combos for next years fun.Who knows maybe I'll be able to bring something fresh.Eddie too.It sure is nice to have such close races. With 140 cars things get pretty tight.

It was good to see everybody again.Good times, good food, good friends, bad ass cars, how can you go wrong?

Sounds like y'all had a good time. Maybe a Maxie from NY next year to stir the pot a bit. I think the F/S venue is the perfect arena for that package.

As for the Caddy. Scotty, I would be willing to bet that if the deVille was in sharp tune it wouldn't be the slowest car there. Those 472"s are plenty stout!!

We got my Mustang tore apart today.Needs a head gasket .Will replace both.At least it waited to the 1000 ft mark on the track to let go on the final pass .Still ran its best et on that pass of 12.51 109.51 .I think on a hooking track it will run 12 teens.I cant wait till next year.

I need to thank Tom Cannon for his words of wisedom. In Toronto he advised me to mellow and chill out a little more and not be so stressed. At Stanton he reinforced it again and I gotta tell ya Tom it worked!! Think the car........ be the car......... presto 12.92 @ 109+.

Thanks Tom, you da man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! emoticon

Thats great Tom! You got the little C II bopping for sure.I like those cars. When I was a kid my grandfather used to jump bridges on the way to aunt Dolly's.Fond memories of the little Chevys.

Peace Man emoticon
