Re: Welcome to a new DXing group and Freebander Forum
Hi Marc - plenty on here from 163 division!
Might get a QSO sometime - roughly where's the QTH over there?
Cheers

changes in ham licence to make it easy, brought out m3 licence and now everyone i knew on the band has got a licence of some type......now thats killed it off.

Re: Welcome to a new DXing group and Freebander Forum
I'm over the water near Clevedon N.Somerset - I've had many QSO's into Wales, including Tredegor, Bargoed and Abertillery (and many more).
I run a simple Chicken Box set-up at this QTH and often monitor 27.315 FM (EU Ch31) on an evening - I use SSB for static mobile DX.
Still quite a few 163 stations around - including 163-FB-131 (Dai) who I think is near your town.
On FM I use the call 26-CT-104 and on SSB 26-FB-104
Cheers
Gary
