Hi Paddy, they are ok, I have heard some issues with these. Cant remember details though. Jim or Keith would know, where are they when you need 'em eh? 
Phil 26TM022 has a radio for sale for the same money. Far superior, shall I give him your email address, you can ask him about it. TS 680s, includes 6m as well as HF.

no its ok dave, i like the more modern look of the other kenwood. i'm stil not totaly decided on what i want but i like the look of the 570. is it easy to get it opened up on transmit?

I've done some research for this radio. However I have never used one or know anyone who does.
Eham reviews are pretty good exept for bleed over being a problem and some CW filtering. In doubt if you're going to be using CW very much
For the money it looks a farly good deal, but you never know with Ebay
