i find people dont understand the buzz of talking to someone miles away on nothing more than a peice of metal. my missis ses the same when i'm excited about talking to anyone oversea on my homemade antenna, "indoor antenna" i say to her "a peice of wire" she just looks at me funny

Hi all, Firstly its a shame you have to sell this Rig soundmanjim as its a cracker!!
Secondly dont want to upset the guys but my Mrs is keen to sit with me and earwig, she even nags me into getting the SWR down on my Inverted V. I have been given permission to put up any antenna (within reason) when we move to our isolated cottage.
AND NO YOU CANT BORROW HER!!!  LOL

too late, ive sold it. look out for a new ssb operator in the lydd area of Kent, first personal Paul. Nice chap. Got £124 for it, so only about £15 less than i paid.
