 How some people change.
Via a converstaion with a few people I know from my more active free radio years, a name came up & someone said they thought he was involved with a certain Hospital Radio station, so I did a google & yes they were.
It turns out that this un named individual is also a part time freelance "Broadcaster" & looking at his website, it seems that when I knew him he was "Involved with various International broadcasters"  
So that's what 48 meters is called now is it 
I have sent several emails to this individual via a selection of known active email accounts that he uses, but have so far had no replies & had we got it wrong I would have expected a response saying we had.
I would not have expected many individuals in his area to have his name, as it's not exactly a common English name & as the individual I have emailed is involved in at least one club that the individual I knew was I would be amazed to find we had got it wrong.
I'm not saying people should not change or develop, or that hobbies cannot become jobs, but what is it with some individuals?
Just to add. The emails I sent were simply "Hi Fred how are you" type emails & telling him what I am doing now. I am not interested in making his life hard & was not bothered by his current respresentation of what he did several years ago.
Nowt's as wierd as folk.
