 Wanting to join in
Hey there, i have been reading enthusiastically about DX'ing, so ive bougt all the gear (courtsey of Keith [26fb139]), and was wondering how do i go about getting a assigned a unit number so i can join in the fun? By the way im Carl Birch, stourbridge, West Midlands, 26 Division and would love to be part of your growing group.

Hey Carl and welcome! Dave (yamanx) will sort you out with a call sign. Been a bit quiet on here latley as not a lot happening on the radio so you picked a real quiet time to start but it does get better, honest. So come on what you bought of Keith, I`ll bet its good stuff?

Hey Al, just a basic setup really, superstar 3900 [blue], an a99 base twig, a 100w linear, just enough to get started, when i really get into it, i can justify spending loads

Well Carl, sorry to have to be the one to tell you but you been done mate, if you were sold that lot as a "basic setup", you see a basic setup if I remember rightly would be a 40ch am-fm rig with a dv27 on a biscuit tin, or was that just my basic setup? Am sure its a good setup of Keith anyways, will listen out for you and as Tony says, new cycle on the way, we hope! Enjoy it anyway

Hey, well when i said basic i meant just enough to get me DX'ing over the world, ii already have a 40ch AM cb but that does not do sideband sooo... i needed one better than that
