The fairer sex
I noticed whilst typing up the directory we have quite a few Female Foxtrot Bravo members.
I wonder why we dont see many of them, well none in fact, on the forums?
Its amazing when using the 11 metre band that when a female voice appears there is loads of QRM? Why's that then fellers? Some poor chap from Austria or Spain can be calling his heart out without any answers, as soon as 35TRC149 Hellenne or 30SD126 Carmen calls out, hundreds of us answer 
C'mon girls you'll find the prop if there is any

Hi Dave, Thought I would use this thread to ask if my Mrs wants to join do we sign up in the usual way? or can she just get a callsign through me? She is keen to have QSO's on our Birthday Bash.

Thats great Tony, wish my wife shared my interest but she has taken up her own hobby in a big way, shame its shopping! She is really good at it though and am sure she could turn professional if she wanted! Maybe if she could hear yours on she would be more interested though.

Ye Al, Im lucky really she has helped me fund the present setup and listens in when she can,
she does not understand the techy stuff but most of us get confused about that now and again, hoping Dave can sort out callsign before big Birthday Net?

Am sure Dave will sort that out for you. Dont know if you were still listening yesterday when Keith asked if I was up for meeting up somewhere for a get together in September, somewhere sort of middle of the country, nothing sorted, just an idea at the moment, told him I am away begining of sept-accually its the end of Sept when we go away, you up for that?

Im away end of September going to 18 Div, shame I cant take my gear there.
I would love to get contacts in 18 Div be nice to speak Greek on the Radio.
