PO Box number

For postal QSL cards etc.

From 12th November Freebanding.co.uk will have a PO Box number for QSl management.

For FB call signs this PO Box number will be free for use.

For non FB call signs there will be a small admin charge (Basically the cost of sending on the QSL cards). However Freebanding. will have to be your QSL manager.

All those who wish to use this service. Please let me have your postal address' so I can forward your post.

Please do not put QRZ information on the outside of any postal QSL.

Very frustrating this is, I filled out the form and paid for this months ago now emoticon

I'll get back on the phone tomorrow and let you all know whats happening. I cant get my QSL cards printed, or sort out the data base etc until I know the box number.

Good news! Hoorah!emoticon

And bad news, booo hisss emoticon

Freabnading has been allocated a Po Box number and post code. But the number is awful, so I've asked the post office if its possible to change it to something more user friendly.

We'll see. If not at least we have a Po Box and I'll start to put it into use.

Re: PO Box number

Thanks Keith, I'll fund the first year and see how it goes from there. I will offer a free Po Box number to FB members and free forwarding for one package per month.

However, it may not be possible for me to change to Po Box number from what I have been allocated. And thats a bit disappointing as the box number is 5241, which is ludicrous as I live in a village with only 4800 residents. How on earth can there be over five thousand Po Box numbers? No way!

Anyway I've written to them and we'll sdee what happens. In the end we may have to use 5421!! emoticon

Hi pascal, no money necessary my friend, I'm going to fund it for the first year or so. emoticon

I will design some qsl cards for the French members and see what you think? You can add some personal stuff to them, I'll do a sample and then you can make changes etc.
