Petition against BT Powerline adaptors

In the past I was actually giving myself interference from these in my home until I disconnected them and wired my system in instead ( see other threads)

Please may I take this opportunity to encourage ALL members of this forum to sign the 10 Downing Street E-Petition to SAVE SHORTWAVE RADIO from overwhelming INTERFERENCE from British Telecom's BT Home-Hub / Vision Powerline Adapters and other similar PLT / BPL (Broadband By Power Line) devices that threaten to swamp our radios with impossible amounts of noise and QRM.

Please encourage anyone and everyone that you know who has any interest in radio, whether it is as a broadcast listener, an 'SWL' (Short Wave Listener), a Radio Amateur or CB operator to sign the E-Petition.

Signed this a while back, should have put it up here before, thanks Tony.

I actually had BT Vision for about half an hour, whole lot went in the skip, massive interference from this rubbish kit.

no probs Dave, The noise from these units is like a spaceship landing, Now getting a DX with a Martian is going beyond the call of duty. emoticon

Ive still got BT Vision but I cabled the connection between HUB and Box instead. the adaptors are in the garage in their box.

We dont want Busby to still cause us problems after all these years
