Foxtrot Bravo

www.foxtrotbravo.co.uk has now been added to the url list. There is a limited number of email address' availible to those who would prefer foxtrotbravo.co.uk to freebanding.co.uk.

In atempt to expand the DX group we will be promoting the site as the Foxtrot Bravo International DX group. Your help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Dave 26fb001

Re: Foxtrot Bravo

The main reason for this slight change is that I have found it easier to broadcast foctrot bravo over the air when swapping QSL details than freebanding. Spelling out freebanding phonetically can be a pain. But Foxtrot bravo should be far easier.

Also I have found that when I'm looking for QSL details for contacts I have made its fairly straight forward to type in the call sign to google, for instance 30AT123, if you type Alpha Tango dx group into google you will get the DX groups web site from there you can email the QSL manager and get the conatct details, bingo! I thought it would be better for us to offer this kind of service.

So, when you make contact all your contact will have to do in order to get your EQSL information is type in Foxtrot bravo dx group into google and from there it will automatically redirect to freebanding.co.uk, where you details can be found emoticon

What do you think?

Hi Dave, is this still the case? if so maybe we can remind new members that this is a much easier way of doing things especially with short QSOs.

I had the shortest QSO with 30PRS-SM who kept saying info on google repeatedly.
I take it he was in a contest for most QSOs in an hour or summit!!! probably got 1 minute of his time if lucky
