Some people take this amateur radio lark far too seriously!

Nice antenna though...

But for the cost, what's he really gaining? 10dB? Cheaper to buy a linear.

If you run with a really good placed also big aerial, you don't need a linear, ever.

Also think bout that: HOW he listen, got it ?
