Re: the new mobile..... at last
Nice one, well done! Thats a nice looking camper, some decent conditions on a weekend now and you`ll be sorted! Am swapping my car back to my old galaxy, I can have a stove in the back of that if needed. Its all good stuff.

Re: the new mobile..... at last
Why 12v? Just run it off a cheap 300w inverter, doesnt use anywhere near 300w but needs it for start up unless its a flat screen, then it doesnt even need that
Cheap inverter

Re: the new mobile..... at last
ahhhh i do have an inverter in the shed, i think its 500 watt, i thought it would drain the battery really fast? so they dont use much power when on?

Re: the new mobile..... at last
Most inverters, even the really cheap modified sine wave ones, are around 90-95% efficient. Which means will use hardly any more battery than if running 12v
So watts for 240v is say 10watts will be 9-9.5watts for 12v. I think a small TV is about 3 watts when running

Re: the new mobile..... at last
I've just had a root through my caravan, and I've found a 300w inverter, not used more than a couple of times in the box, if you need one Paddy let me know
