25th July to 2nd August
I'm all set up now on my boat, radio, TS 870s, in place aerial is going to be a mag mounted Avanti 1/4 wave I bought over 25 years ago! I've also wired up my old D104 Astatic Silver Eagle for the job, sounds good too 
I wont be active every day, but will try and get on as much as possible, probably around tea time (ish)
I will be travelling from Newport in Shropshire to Northwich in Cheshire via Chester and back
Listen out for me

Have a Great Holiday Dave, I really hope to catch you as you pass by. Im off work sick at the moment but still able to go up the hills
Will you be going on the Anderton Lift, Ive been on the noddy boat up and down but would be great to have narrow boat to go on it.

Moored up in Middlewich, now. Calling on 555, but very quiet TBH. Worked 30 div last night, may pick up a bit. Going out for a ruby tonight, but might try some EC later
Pretty limited internet access and very slow, GPRS, no 3G around here it seems.

be nice to hear the radio with that silver eagle,what reports av u ad dave?
is it better with the bass boost,don't put to much compression on should be set about rite as i ran the mc60 on it??
