Re: new boy on the block Hi Mick, loads of us back on after years break. Lots of 148`s still about but a lot are using HF sets as well. 555 has been dead the last few weeks but keep listening on there as it has to pick up soon-I hope! Where abouts are you anyway?

Re: new boy on the block hello and welcome to the Foxtrot Bravo Group. I stil use a CB/Multimode in my mobile and got a couple of HF sets at home, it all depends where you want to be freebanding. I was using a Cobra 148 and have only just recently sold it, if your just gettin back into it i think a cobra or superstar 3900 would be the cheapest option Loads of helpfull people on here who can steer you in the right direction
