PMR
Hi guys, Anyone use pmr. I live in the swindon area, and there are a few of us on, We use 446.093. Ch 8 as a chat net when the bands are low.

i'll have to have a listen out and se if i can hear anything, i'm near warminster so you never know. never used it before only on little handhelds

We use widebanded ham radios, and a few of the guys have built small beams which seem to work well. Im only usin a vert antenna, but i can work stations on high ground in around bath from swindon. I forgot to say i used to live in warminster, Used to work well on 11m and other bands but had to drive up a hill near the ranges, A big barn or something up there, only 2 minutes from by house.

I work whis a Kenwood TK 349.
