Maritime Mobile

I'm going away on my narrowboat in a couple of weeks time for a short holiday, up to Chester and back.

I will be taking my "new" radio with me emoticon

I'm going to use the call sign 26FB001/NB and call myself Maritime Mobile, I know its not really maritime, as its inland waterways, but its the closest thing emoticon

Should be fun, I'll be using a 1/4 wave vertical and the SY27 dipole, no linear just the power from the radio and fist mic emoticon

Plenty of battery, 9 110ah batteries charged from the engine, 2.2 BMC at 42bhp. Runs all the electric, two inverters 2kw and 1 kw. Could take the linear with me but its a bit too big emoticon

Should be in Chester on 30th, 31st July
