THANKS!
just to say thanks dave for sorting out my qsl cards, well happy! Got to work, recivied package from posty, opened and found qsl cards inside, turned on radio, heard station 1RGK201 CALLING, followed to 27580 and had qso with him and before all the usual working conditions etc he asked for qsl card and we exchanged details! brilliant!! still happy here in suffolk!!

yes i read the prop report and your comments on people who give up selling radios so i think that i will start looking after xmas, fancy one of those not to fancy but do the job really well,older type radios something thats been widebanded etc, will ask you for advise when the time is near, on reflection i spent quite a bit on my 3900 to be eprommed etc and should have spent my money on a "proper" radio[cant complain the 3900 does seem to do the business!] the cb is great when out on convoy but for base i should have thought a bit more "professional" still 11 meter should get better over the next few years and i hope to be there! WHEN the prop dies down i hope to speak local but dont hold out much hope.
