TS 850 kenwood ts 850s, well what can be said.............its a fantastic radio. had a few, still got one, looks brilliant, works excellent, good rx good tx, easy 100 watts, plenty of knobs and switches. excellent 'real' auto matcher. my alltime favourite hf radio.. why why why did kenwood stop making them.
Re: TS 850 hi patrick, ive also a 870, my 850 is upstairs in the spare room shack ? along with a ft101z. i prefer the 850 but the 870 is good for low-fi audio. i dont know why kenwood stopped making radios like the 850. its a shame.
