I have the SY27-3 and seems well made for the price, the difference between my A99 and the beam is amazing, can work stations with this that the A99 cant pick up at all. Well worth the money-wondering now how the 4elli would have been?

Had this antenna (sy27-4) for 2 years.
It worked good until we had a severe storm and it broke.
As the post above says It picks up stuff the vertical does not.
Good quality for the cash.

ps it wont stand up to 130 mph wind at 300m above sea level lol.

I've had a few of these over the years they are good value for money and repair easily which is important because they break easily too but apart from exagerated gain figures they do a reasonable job for not much cash, therefore i rate them on that aspect because they are the cheapest dB on the market!.

Re: Siro SY27-4

THE SY27-4 its good but the boom is to short to get maximum front to back, ive a modified sy27-3 and it works excellent, fb is better than the 4 element, forward gain not as good but its close, boom on the 4 ele needs to be 20ft or there abouts to get the extra fb. well made antennas though.
