Yeah, its me, and good to cuagn here. Dipole antenna is very simple to make and meny OM, think its a best, they had lots of antenna but always come back to dipole, ,,but gain is simple 0 dbd. emoticon

hi mike! i thourght it was you! even with your ww bit at the end! hi hi! nice to talk to you again! yes i like dipoles! i have made lots in the past! i have a home made bazooka coaxial dipole type antenna at the moment it works very well cheap and easy to make! 73s.

yeah, thats my next projekt diy bazooka, and try to do some kind a bazookaloop if I have 20m coax...
Never knows if not try to do.

Bazooka antennas if made from a low velocity Coax can be a very good antena if space is just that little bit short for a normal sized dipole.

Fb rich, I'll try to do that, also double bazooka. See what can do, autum is near(its here) and winter is at hand.

hi mike! i think you will like the bazooka antenna! i was very impressed with it! far better than i thourght it would be! mine is made from the rg8x coax! its the grey stuff! just a tip for you! if you do make it make sure the feeder coax is the same as the antennas coax! it does help i have tryed it!! the beauty about this antenna is it has a very low noise level on rx! almost wind damage proof (weekest point will be what you tie it to!!!) i made mine for under £5!! i already had the feed coax! so..60pence a meterx5=£3.00 i brought more incase off errors!! plus a plastic tub to encase the coax conection £1 from pound land total=£4 plus i already had some silicon sealer for the ends and coax joints! if you would like mike! email me at 26fb456@talktalk.net and i will send you the bazooka calculator which is brilliant! 73s rich.

Thanx for it, I'll contact to you, here is no low cost coax and have to go 50 miles to get some. Have only 10m and need that first to other proj.

hi mike! no problem! just give me a email when you are ready!! i think you will like it! i have mine in the horizontal position! infact its on the wifes washing line only 7 feet high!! a good dx antenna for sure! 73s.
