20 metres
Today even on 20 the prop has been very poor, working only EU today. Did hear US for a short while but no stations worked

I Like 20M Dave, along with 40M most of my Ham QSO's have been on these two bands. they are open more than 10M and my G5RV tunes in OK on them aswell.

Worked Canada, Iran and USA on 20m but couldnt find any NA stations for EC contact, called and called, but no go
Heard Iran and USA talking, good for radio that it doesn't matter about borders, politics etc. Also heard Irag calling and working France on 14145, just listened in, too many stations trying to come back to him, including USA

i was in basra in 2003, one of the US radio ops let me use his HF manpac with a 3 foot antenna,i tuned it to 27.555 and had a short qso or two into uk (while no-one was listening)cheeky! i dread to think what the security implications were, there was a war on ??
