old timer ,new starter

Hi to all, I am new to this site, I have joined to hopefully get as much help as I can to use my new rig. I have aquired a Ranger 2950DX. I started on CB in 1973 and left it in the early 90's. I am back on again but CB is so awful it's painful to see how bad it has become. I had so much fun on CB and made lots of friends and did lots of dx ing on many big rigs. Now i have this Ranger, I want to use it but i think i will listen a lot first. I want to use it but not sure if I will break the rules doing so. I seem to have forgotten a lot more than I know. I have read a lot on hear over the past couple of days but im still confused. No change there. Regards Nigel.null

Hi Nigel and welcome, not sure where abouts you are but you will almost certainly hear a FB calling on triple 5 no matter where you are! All the ones I have spoken to, and met, are really friendly. Its very relaxed freebanding.
All the best with your renewed hobby, enjoy!
Al
