DSi preview
first i know TRA1t0R said no posting but it has been like that for a bit and i think i could put a preview up(if not TRA1t0R can get rid of it)

I intro and new things
As lots of you know the next DS is made and released in Japan but I will give a preview of what I know so far about it and some of my feelings about it. This is the 3rd DS (first was the DS, then DS lite and now DSi) and has lots of changes in it.
II new things added to DSi
Slightly THINER: it’s 2.6millimeaters thinner (how they managed that I don’t know)2.6 is about the size of a DS game(slightly smaller)
Bigger screen size: it’s going form 3 inches to about 3.25. This will make the DS wider than the lite but I think it will be worth it
NO advance slot but a SD card slot: the only bad thing I find with it is no GBA so if you have guitar hero you NEED to your old DS but the SD card makes up (see III)
Sound: it is louder than the DS lite (thank god)
Cameras: there are 2 of them; one on the outside for taking pictures of friends and one on the inside for take one of you.(see IV)
Music: yes you can play music on the DS(see V)
WIFI: yep wifi…well I guess that was a given(see VI)
Cost: $169.99
III SD and advance slots
A new thing they added was the SD card slot. This allows you to save photos(see IV) and play music(see V)using the SD card. I also think you can put the photos on the wii(photo channel but I am not 100% on that. Sadly with a new SD card slot they took the GBA slot. I have herd rumors that you can buy GBA games form the DSi channel(see VI) and play multi player with friends that get the game to(THIS IS ROMOR AND MAY NOT BE TRUE!)
IV Camera
The biggest thing that is new with the DSi is the cameras. You can take pictures of friends or of your self and save them to your SD card(see III) or send them wirelessly to a friend! With the camera there is also a built in Photoshop so you can mess around with the pictures and have some fun with it to. The wii had motion sensing games and the DSi is following using the camera! There are games where you move your head side to side and the DSi tracks where is moves and in some games will require that.
V music
You can play your music from a SD card(see III) BUT only in AAC format, not MP3 so you may need to do some converting. Also you can record your voice(10 sec max though). You are also able to add sound effects to it or change the speed and pitch of the sound/music.
VI WIFI
Of course there is WIFI but there is also a DSi channel and is basically like the Nintendo channel. You will be able to buy new things there(maybe GBA games). Also updates will be able to be downloaded on DSi like on the wii.

The batter life is different also and there are 5 different brightness you can chose from instead of the 4 on a lite.
Super bright 3-4 hours
Bright 4-6 hours
Normal 6-9 hours
Dim 8-12 hours
Super dim 9-14 hours
