Backwards Compatibility As I probably will be getting a job soon, I have turned my sights to the PlayStation 3 as the next addition to the TV room. Natually, I would want it to be backwards-compatible model, given that I have a lot of PS2 games. But, do you have ANY idea just how hard a backwards-compatible model is to find?! I'll give you a hint: ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. Apparantly they don't make them anymore! WHAT THE HELL?! Anyway, I lucked out and found some dude who'll sell me his backwards-compatible 80GB model (and a copy of MGS4) for fairly cheap. So, anyway, I might have a PS3 before the month is out...
He found out that he prefers the 360 after his 7-day free return had passed, so he sold it to me for a down payment of $75 with my promise to get him the remaining $275 within a year (not a problem). So, I got a discount of around $200 on a PS3 that was purchased about a week and a half ago, and has seen less than 5 hours of use. Anyway, it runs like a charm, and is sitting on top of the VCR (in all its monolithic glory) right now. Incidentally, it's also what I'm typing this post on.
