Home is an MMOSS (Massivly Multiplayer Online Social Simulator) that is shared across the PSN. It's has taking the reins of your own customizable avatar in what feels like a crossover between a chat room and a gigantic game of The Sims with a bunch of minigames thrown in.
Come to think of it, it's actually quite similar to Second Life.

Not even close, actually. One key difference is that your PSH avatar is a high-poly, proportionate model with face customizability almost reaching Bethesdadom, as opposed to a fairly limited, blocky, person(?). In addition, the interface provides a detailed world to walk around and allows for interaction with other people, which the Mii system can't claim. Morover, Sony has had this idea since the PS2's glory days, long before the Wii came along.

I for one am EXTREMELY disappointed with Home. Really, nobody has headsets, there's nothing to do there, the games get boring really fast, and all it is right now is empty advertising space.
And the nickle and dimming that they do to you is just ridiculous. Seriously. 49 Cents for an origami duck? Really? $4.99 for a couch? A couch? It looks like a freaking nice couch mind you, I wouldn't mind having it in real life... That would be nice... my own couch... couch... that's a funny word if you think about it... couch... But this is a game not real life! I don't want to pay for make believe furniture, I'd rather kill some Nazi Zombies in World at War!... Couch... heh...
Anyone else have the same feelings towards home that I have?
